Our campaign to end period poverty is on track. In our fight against period poverty, Chariots has been donating pads to 20 girls at Lord Orphan Care Orphanage in Kambuzuma Zimbabwe every month. Our campaign is running from January through December.
We have also managed to introduce the period cup to women in prisons. We started with Rusape Women’s Prison. It’s convenient, it durable, it’s easy to clean and store. It is our hope that we may be able to donate the cup to more Women Prisons. We believe that though they are incarcerated, they should still have access to sanitary services.
