People at Heart Foundation and Chariots Handmaydz have continued to support 20 girls at a local orphanage in Zimbabwe by donating sanitary pads each since January 2023 to date. We have also donated period cups to women in Rusape Prison.
Our goal is to provide sanitary wear to more girls in the country. There is a need for more sanitary wear because according to our research we discovered that some girls are using unhygienic methods as sanitary wear, these methods include cow dung, cloth, tissues etc or whatever they find at that point. Sanitary wear is a necessity to every girl child and woman and I believe that we can do more to end this poverty.
