It was a great pleasure to host a jewelry making workshop at MATRIX. The goal of our workshop was team building as well as equipping facilitators from MATRIX TRUST with the basic skills of jewelry making, findings and jewelry tools.
Facilitators were also taught on how to be creative with materials around them. We made earrings using Musasa tree seeds. This tree is found everywhere in Zimbabwe. We discussed about other materials that can be found around us such as tin can tops, plastic, cardboard boxes and food.
