In the year 2021 Chariots embarked on a journey to purchase a milling plant. Our objective was to start a sustainable project that would help us empower the marginalized women and children through providing employment and using the profit proceeds from the mill to fund their activities.
The milling plant was purchased in China, from the Pingle Group of companies in 2021. The plant arrived in Zimbabwe towards the end of January 2022. We are grateful to Pingle group, for providing us with an engineer, whom they waived engineering fees and cost of flights to Zimbabwe. All Chariots is catering for is his accommodation, food and daily allowance. The engineer has been very instrumental in the installation and commissioning of the milling plant.
A big thank you to all our customers for purchasing our jewelry products. This has enabled us to achieve this great milestone. We are looking forward to working with the local community in Rusape. Our goal is to produce a quality product, produced by widows and orphans (above legal working age) from Rusape Zimbabwe.
